Add Note to Companies
Add a note to one or more HubSpot companies, and have it automatically show up on their associated deals too. Use it to log account-level updates without leaving your workflow.

What It Does
Writes a note to the HubSpot companies you choose. HubSpot automatically associates that note with any deals linked to those companies.
When To Use It
Use this to log account-level context, such as a renewal risk or an executive update, directly on the company record. If you need the note on a contact instead (which also cascades to the company and deal), use Add Note to Contacts. For a note tied only to a deal, use Add Note to Deals.
Configuration
Configure the node with these settings:
Field | What it controls |
|---|---|
Owner | The team member listed as the note's owner in HubSpot. Optional. Leave empty to create an unassigned note. |
Companies | The HubSpot companies to add the note to. Supports multiple companies, and the note also appears on their associated deals. Required. |
Note | The note content. Supports markdown, which is converted to HTML for HubSpot. Required. |
Outputs
The node passes these values downstream. Check the Outputs tab on the configured node to confirm exact paths.
This node does not emit output variables.
Example Workflow
After a quarterly business review, a workflow drafts a summary and uses this node to log it as a note on the customer's company record, where it also shows up on any open deal.
