Customize Your Notetaker Image
Introduction
Your notetaker is the participant that appears in meetings to record and transcribe them. Workspace admins can choose what image the notetaker shows in the meeting tile — hide it entirely, use the AskElephant default, or upload a custom image that matches your company.
Where to Find the Setting
Open Workspace Settings and go to the Notetaker section. Under Notetaker image you'll see the three options described below, along with a preview of what attendees will see in the call.
Choose How the Notetaker Appears
Pick one of these options:
Hide image— the notetaker shows no image in the meeting tile. Good if you want the notetaker to feel as unobtrusive as possible.Use the AskElephant default— the standard AskElephant icon appears in the tile. This is the option to pick if you have no preference.Upload a custom image— upload your own image (typically your company logo). The preview shows you how the image will render before you save.
For best results, upload a square image with a transparent or solid background. If the image looks cropped in the preview, try a version with more padding around the logo.
Notes for Admins
The notetaker image setting applies to every meeting the workspace records. It does not change per user, and it doesn't change how transcripts, summaries, or recordings are produced — only the visual representation of the notetaker during the live meeting.
If you change the image, the new version takes effect on the next meeting the notetaker joins. Meetings that are already in progress keep the image they started with.
