Aircall
Overview
Connect Aircall to AskElephant to automatically bring your Aircall call recordings into your workspace. Once connected, new Aircall calls are imported for transcription, AI summaries, signals, and Workflows, so your team can review and act on them in AskElephant.
Aircall is a one-way connection: calls flow from Aircall into AskElephant. AskElephant does not write anything back to Aircall.
Who It's For
Sales and support teams using Aircall who want calls analyzed in AskElephant
RevOps teams managing call capture across multiple reps
Before You Begin
You need the workspace owner role in AskElephant to open Workspace Settings and connect an integration.
You need permission to create API keys in your Aircall dashboard.
Step 1: Get Your Aircall Credentials
Sign in to your Aircall dashboard.
Create a new API key.
Copy the API ID and API Token.
The API key needs permission to read calls and recordings.
Step 2: Connect Aircall in AskElephant
Sign in as a workspace owner.
Click your workspace name, then open
Workspace Settings → Integrations.Find Aircall.
Enter your API ID and API Token.
Optionally turn on Automatic Aircall imports to keep importing new calls going forward.
Click
Connect.
You'll see a confirmation once the connection saves. When you're connected, the Automatic Aircall imports toggle saves on its own as soon as you change it, so there's no separate Save step.
What Happens After You Connect
New Aircall calls with recordings start importing automatically.
Imported calls appear in AskElephant like any other meeting, with a transcript, summary, and signals ready for review and Workflows.
New calls typically appear within a few minutes of finishing in Aircall.
Automatic Aircall imports covers new calls only. It does not pull in past recordings.
Importing Historical Calls
Automatic imports only bring in calls recorded after you connect. If you need older Aircall calls imported, contact the AskElephant team and we'll help plan the import. See Importing Call Recordings into AskElephant for the other ways to bring recordings in.
Troubleshooting
Connect fails. Double-check the API ID and API Token, and regenerate them in the Aircall dashboard if needed.
The sync toggle reverts. The setting failed to save. Try toggling it again.
No calls are importing. Confirm Automatic Aircall imports is on and that the calls happened after you connected. New calls can take a few minutes to appear.
I need older calls. Automatic imports only bring in new calls. Contact support for help with a historical import.
