Overview
The Search page is your meeting library. It shows all recorded meetings in your workspace (based on what you have permission to see) and gives you powerful tools to find exactly what you need—whether that's a specific call, a group of meetings, or patterns across many conversations.
You can search by title, filter by dozens of criteria, tag meetings for organization, and even select multiple calls to analyze together in a chat.
Key Terms
Internal Call: A meeting where everyone has your company's email domain (team meetings).
External Call: A meeting with participants from outside organizations (client calls, partner meetings).
Tag: A custom label you add to meetings for organization (like "Onboarding" or "Q3 Planning").
Group: Pre-defined team divisions in your workspace (like Sales, Product, Support).
What You'll See
Top Section
- Search bar: Search for meetings by title or keywords
- Filter bar: Multiple filter options to narrow down results
- Clear Filters button: Reset all filters at once

How to Find Meetings
Simple Search by Title
- Type in the search bar at the top
- Results update automatically to show matching titles
Example: Search "Acme" to find all meetings with that company in the title.
Filter by Call Type
- Internal: Only team meetings (all attendees from your company)
- External: Meetings with outside participants (clients, partners)
Filter by Other Criteria
- Media Type: How the meeting was recorded (mobile app, meeting, appointment, audio upload)
- Date Range: Meetings from a specific time period
- Duration: Meetings that are a certain length (use the slider to set min/max)
- Team Members: Find calls where specific people participated
- Groups: Filter by pre-defined team groups (Product, Sales, etc.)
- Contacts: Search for external contacts you've met with
- Company: Filter by specific companies
- Tags: Find meetings you've labeled with a tag
- Recorded Status: Show only recorded or not-recorded meetings
Combine Multiple Filters
Layer filters together for precise results.
Example: External calls + Product group + last 2 weeks + greater than 10 minutes = all client meetings your Product team had recently over 10 minutes long.
Selecting Meetings
Select Individual Meetings
Click the checkbox next to any meeting to select it.
Select Multiple Meetings
- Click checkboxes on individual meetings, or
- Click the top-left checkbox to select all currently visible meetings
Important: Meetings load in blocks of 20. If you need more, scroll down to load the next batch, then use the top-left checkbox again.
Why this matters: You can select 35+ meetings efficiently by scrolling and selecting in batches.
What to Do With Selected Meetings
Create a New Chat With Them
- Select the meetings you want
- Click New Chat (top right)
- You'll be taken to the AskElephant page with all selected meetings added as context
- Ask the AI to analyze, compare, or find patterns across them
Example workflow:
- Filter for all external calls from last month
- Select 50 calls
- Create a new chat
- Ask: "What are the most common objections mentioned?"
Tag Selected Meetings
- Select meetings
- Click Manage Tags
- Create a new tag or apply an existing one
- All selected meetings now have that tag
Why tag? Tags let you quickly filter and find groups of related meetings later without re-running the same filters.
Customize Your View
- Reorder columns: Click and drag column headers to rearrange
- Resize columns: Drag the edge of a column to make it wider or narrower
Example: If you care more about attendees and duration than date and owner, customize your view to show those columns prominently.
Why Search Page Is Powerful
It's faster than adding meetings one-by-one in a chat.
Instead of:
- Going to AskElephant page
- Clicking "Attach Meetings"
- Manually finding and selecting each call
You can:
- Use filters to find exactly what you need
- Bulk-select dozens or hundreds at once
- Create a chat with all of them instantly
Quick Tips
- Filters stick around: Once you set filters, they stay active until you clear them. This is helpful if you want to focus on one specific view.
- Scroll to load more: Always scroll to the bottom before using "select all" if you want more than 20 meetings.
- Use tags for patterns: Tag related calls (like "lost deals" or "expansion opportunities") so you can find them instantly later.
- Combine filters strategically: Layer 2-3 filters to uncover specific insights your team needs.
Common Search Scenarios
Find long internal meetings last week:
- Call Type: Internal
- Duration: 30+ minutes

Next Steps
- Open the Search page and try a simple title search
- Apply one filter (like Date Range) and see how it narrows results
- Combine 2-3 filters to find a specific set of meetings
- Select a few meetings and create a new chat with them
- Ask the AI to analyze patterns across those calls
