Login Issues
Introduction
If you can't log into AskElephant, start with the fixes below. Most login problems come from stale browser state, an email change that wasn't fully propagated, or a Google SSO redirect loop.
Google Sign-In Redirects You Back to Login
If clicking Sign in with Google sends you back to the login page, or the verification email takes you to an "email verified" page without actually logging you in:
Hard refresh the page (
Cmd+Shift+Ron Mac,Ctrl+Shift+Ron Windows).Clear your browser cache and cookies for
app.askelephant.ai.Try a different browser or an incognito / private window.
If you're still looping, move to the next section.
You Recently Changed Your Email
If you changed your email and can't log in, the update may not have been applied on the backend. Updating your email in the Team section alone isn't always enough for login. See How to Change Your Login Email Address for the full flow — it's a support-assisted change.
When to Contact Support
If the fixes above don't resolve it, reach out with:
Whether you're signing in with Google or entering your email manually.
Any error messages you're seeing (exact text or a screenshot).
Whether other team members are also affected.
Support can reset login credentials and update email addresses on the backend. Support hours are 9am–5pm Mountain Time, Monday through Friday.
