Send Email

Send an email to specific recipients with full control over the To, CC, and BCC fields.

What It Does

Sends a single email with the subject and body you provide, to the recipients listed in To, CC, and BCC. Recipients can be entered as plain email addresses or selected from people earlier in the workflow.

When To Use It

Use this for direct email communication that should go out regardless of a person's notification preferences, such as sending a customer-facing recap. If you want to notify a teammate based on their own notification settings instead, use Send Notification.

Configuration

Configure the node with these settings:

Field	What it controls
To, CC, BCC	Recipients for each field. Type `{{` to select people from earlier workflow nodes, or type an email address directly and press enter.
Subject	The email subject line. Required. Cannot contain line breaks.
Body	The email body content. Required. Supports markdown formatting for rich text.

Outputs

The node passes these values downstream. Check the Outputs tab on the configured node to confirm exact paths.

This node does not emit output variables.

Example Workflow

After a proposal is finalized, use Send Email to email the customer's decision maker directly with the proposal summary in the body, CCing the account owner.
