HubSpot's Internal Data Agent

Overview

AskElephant automations don't use HubSpot's Internal Data Agent. Any interactions AskElephant has with HubSpot are carried out by AskElephant's own agents through HubSpot's APIs.

What This Means for Credit Usage

• AskElephant actions in HubSpot are run by AskElephant's agents, not HubSpot's internal agent.

• If you see increased HubSpot credit usage, AskElephant's automations may be making API calls that consume credits, but those calls come from AskElephant's agents.

• AskElephant doesn't send data to, or enable communication with, HubSpot's Internal Data Agent.

How to Investigate Credit Usage

• Review the automation run history in AskElephant to see what actions ran and when.

• Check HubSpot's API usage or credit reports to identify which endpoints or actions consume credits.

• If needed, temporarily disable the automation and monitor HubSpot credit usage to confirm the correlation.
